One person has been killed by Border Security Force (BSF) at the Indian border in Kiranganj, Chapainawabganj.
The deceased was identified as Dulal.
The incident occurred in the early hours of Monday.
Binodpur union parishad chairman Enamul Haque said, “Dulal and his comrades entered india through international border at Kiranmganj through pillar 178 area. BSF members fired shots at them killing Dulal on the spot. BSF kept his body under their surveillance.”
UP chairman said BGB and BSF called a flag meeting.
Chapainawabganj BGB Lieutenant Colonel Mahmudul Hasan said, “Dulal’s body is in BSF’s possession.”
