A motorcyclist has been killed after a truck ran him over in Kaliganj upazila of Jhenaidah.
The accident occurred in the Notun Bazar area around 10am on Sunday.
The deceased has been identified as Aminur Haque, 30, son of Jhotu Miah hailing from Chanchra village of the same upazila.
Hazrat Ali, a witness, said: “A Kotchandpur-bound truck ran over Aminur as he was heading towards the city. Locals took him to Kaliganj Upazila Health Complex where doctors declared him dead.”
Doctor Sultan Ahmed from the health complex said: “Aminur’s dead body has been handed over to his family.”
