Train travel suspended following a train accident in Moulvibazar, resumed between Dhaka and Sylhet on Monday evening.
“We did a trial train run at 6:45pm after repairing the tracks and found no problems,” said Kulaura Railway Senior Deputy Assistant Engineer, Jewel Ahmed.
He said service has resumed and the Sylhet to Chittagong bound Udayan Express will leave the station on time at 9pm.

At least four people have been killed and around 67 injured by an intercity train derailment at Baramchal in Kulaura upazila.
Four carriages or bogies of the Dhaka-bound Upaban Express train from Sylhet, veered off the tracks around 11:40pm on Sunday, when a Barochhara Canal culvert collapsed, according to railway and police officials.
