The customer will not have to pay the 40 paisa charge for looking up the account balances on all mobile financial services (MFS), including bKash, Rocket, Nagad and Ucash as operator will pay it.
The Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) clarified this on Tuesday on its website. It says that customers will not have to pay any money to mobile phone-based financial services (MFS) mobile phones.

In June 13, the BTRC issued a directive to all mobile operators about payment of the services bill but there was no clear instructions about who would pay it.
