A Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) team has arrested two drug traders from Sadar upazila in Cox's Bazar.
RAB-15 arrested Md Rabiul Alam, 31, and Abchar Uddin, 16, from Tarbaniarchara in the upazila, in the early hours of Saturday.
Cox's Bazar RAB media wing Assistant Director, Md Mahmudul Hasan Mamun, said: "Acting on a tip-off, we conducted a drive in the area and caught the accused red-handed with 1,70,000 Yaba pills.
"The recovered Yaba has a market price of around Tk8 crore. The drug traders were handed over to Cox's Bazar Sadar police station," he added.
