“My daughter cannot commit suicide. She was murdered,” he told reporters on Tuesday following a meeting with two visiting Maldivian police officers at Rajshahi Parjatan Motel.

Amin Hossain, assistant commissioner of RMP Detective Branch, said they had been looking into the incident keeping in mind that Raudha could have been murdered. "There is a 50% chance that she did not commit suicide," he added. Her mobile phone and laptop have been sent to the Criminal Investigation Department in Dhaka for further scrutiny, he added.
