Two people have died in a cylinder blast at a garments factory in Gazipur.
The incident took place at the Eva Sweater Factory of Smog Group Sunday evening.
Confirming the matter to Dhaka Tribune, Gazipur Industrial Police Inspector Iskander Habibur Rahman said: "Eight others were also injured in the blast."
The deceased are Farhad Hossain 30, and Sirajul Islam, 21. Both of them were air conditioner mechanics, he added.
The explosion took place as they were pumping gas from a cylinder into an air conditioner.
