Show-cause notices have been served to 14 Gazipur City Corporation (GCC) officials and employees over corruption charges.
Gazipur Mayor Jahangir Alam said this to the media at a press briefing held at Nagar Bhaban on Tuesday morning, reports UNB.
"If there is no satisfactory reply from them within the next 24 hours, they will be suspended," the mayor warned.
The officials and employees had been given verbal warnings.
