Three people have been killed in two separate incidents in Patnitala upazila of Naogaon.
The deceased have been identified as Golam Mustafa, 45, Muzaffar Rahman, 30, and Erfan Ali, 26.
Patnitala police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Porimol Chakrabarti said: “Mustafa and Muzaffar died in an electrical accident. Their bodies were recovered by the locals and sent to Patnitala Upazila Health Complex, where the doctors declared them dead.”
In a separate incident, the police recovered the body of Erfan, who was from Chakshibram Telepara village.
Police suspect that his death was a suicide. The body has been sent for autopsy to the sadar hospital morgue.
The OC said: “We are preparing to file two cases.”
