A businessman has been stabbed to death in Belgharia bridge area of Kushtia.
He was attacked, and killed, around 10pm on Thursday. The deceased, Omar Sheikh, 57, was a garment businessman living in the Ziarokhi union area of Sadar upazila.
Kushtia model police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Nasir Uddin said: “We are investigating the murder. The motive for the killing is yet to be investigated. The dead body has been transferred to Kushtia General Hospital's morgue for autopsy.”
