A three-day festival is being organized at the Sri Sri Anukulchandra Satsang Ashram in Pabna’s Hemayetpur.
The festival marking the 131st birth anniversary of Thakur Anukulchandra’s incarnation will begin on Wednesday.
The program schedule was outlined at a press conference held at the ashram’s library auditorium on Tuesday.
The press conference was chaired by the ashram’s vice president, Dr Sri Rabindranath Sarkar, and convened by Dr Naresh Madhu.
The three-day program will include, early morning and morning prayers, the national flag and satsang flag hoisting, procession, quiz competition, special religious discussions, special hymns, holy books recitation, kishore mela, and evening prayers and discussions on the divine life of Sri Sri Thakur Anukulchandra.
The event will be presided over by the ashram vice president, Dr Sri Rabindranath Sarkar.
Devotees from home and abroad have started to gather at the ashram and various types of stalls are being set up in preparation for the festival.
Known to devotees as Sri Sri Thakur Anukulchandra, Anukulchandra Chakravarty was a Bangladeshi spiritual guru who founded the Satsang movement worldwide.
He started his mission in Hemayetpur with establishing the Satsang Ashram.
