Missing Awami League leader found trussed up in Mymensingh

An Awami League leader from Jamalpur who was missing for four days was rescued from Mymensingh on Sunday.

55-year-old Agar Uddin went missing on Wednesday night when he went to stand guard over a nearby beel in his village of Acchakandi in Bakshiganj. Agar. When he did not return the next morning, his family began to look for him and only found his clothes by the beel. They filed a general diary with the police.

On Sunday afternoon, locals saw a bloodied and battered person tied up next to Gaffargaon rail station in Mymensingh and contacted the police.

After the railway police rescued Agar, they informed Bakshiganj police station.

Agar is currently undergoing medical treatment at a Mymensingh hospital.

Police have not released any further information at this time.
