Rapid Action Battalion (RAB) on Tuesday rescued a 13-year-old boy, four days after being abducted by a group of men in Brahmanbaria.
The arrested has been identified as Lokman Hossain, 40, Furkan Khadem, 30, Chan Mia, 32, Azizul Hakim, 22, Kairul Islam, 22, Alamgir Hossain, 23, and Elshad Ali, 25.
Speaking at a press briefing in Brahmanbaria Press Club, RAB 14 Company Commander Rafiuddin Md Jobayer said: “RAB rescued the boy from the BCS Confidence Hall area of the Mymensingh Agricultural University College, while arresting seven kidnappers in this connection.”
On Friday, the 13-year-old was abducted by Chan Mia, who previously worked at their house, to avenge a past feud. The family members immediately notified the RAB 14 Bhairab camp, following acall demanding ransom.
