Forty-people have been injured in a clash between two rival groups in Habiganj.
The groups attacked each other with lances, locally called “Teta”, following an argument regarding the formation of a managing committee; at Baniachang School, on Tuesday afternoon.

Locals said there was a dispute between Abu Mia and Surut Ali of the village regarding the formation of the committee.
Baniachang police station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Rashed Mobarak said: "Acting on information, we went to the spot and brought the situation under control."
He said five people were admitted to Habiganj Sadar Hospital, while the rest were given primary care.
