A mild to moderate cold wave is sweeping over the regions of Madaripur, Gopalganj, Sitakunda, Rajshahi, Pabna, Badalgachi,Dinajpur, Tetulia, Dimla, Rajarhat, Satkhira, Jessore, Chuadanga, Barisal and Moulvibazar and it may continue fora few days.
Light to moderate fog may occur at places from Thursday midnight till Friday morning, while weather may remain dry with temporary partly cloudy skies over the country in the next 24 hours till 9am on Friday, report BSS,citing a Bangladesh Meteorological Department bulletin on Thursday.
Night temperature may rise slightly and day temperature may remain nearly unchanged during the period.
The maximum temperature recorded was 28.4°C in Sylhet on Wednesday,while on Thursday, the minimum temperature recorded was 7.0°C in Jessore.
On Thursday, the set at 5:34pm,and it will rise at 6:43am on Friday in the capital.
