Cox’s Bazar mayor to quit if he fails to solve city problems

Cox’s Bazar municipality Mayor Mahbubur Rahman has declared to resign if he fails to solve waterlogging and illegal grabbing problems within next month. He made the announcement during a views exchange meeting at the municipality conference room on Monday afternoon. The mayor said the list of illegal grabber was completed and an eviction drive would be conducted as per the list. He also expressed sorrow as the Bazarghata and Boro Bazar areas of Cox’s Bazar town got waterlogged due to the recent downpour.
