The fourth alumni reunion of the English department of the Chittagong University is set to begin at the university campus on January 25.
The Chittagong English Alumni Association will host the two-day reunion.
To make the program a success, a preparatory meeting was held at the university's club in the Chittagong city on Friday evening.
Prof Mainul Hasan Chowdhury, chairperson of the English department, Chittagong University, presided over the meeting, where elaborate programs were chalked out for the reunion.
"The alumni will get a chance to get together and rejoice their success and togetherness, and reminisce old times. The first day’s program will be held on the university campus, while the second day’s proceedings will take place at the Chittagong Boat Club," said Prof Mainul, also the convener of the reunion.
Any alumni can participate in the grand event along with their spouses. A web portal was also launched for online registration for the reunion atwww.cuenglishalumni.org.
The alumni were requested to register for the reunion by January 15, and to contact Prof Mainul for any queries.
