Those killed in the Kushtia mishap are Abdul Mazid Khalifa, 65, and Omed Ali, 63. Meanwhile, the victims of Jamalpur road accident have been identified as Mostafa, 45, and Jahurul, 30.
In Kushtia, two persons were killed and 48 injured after a bus from Rangpur overturned in Satmail area under Kushtia’s Mirpur upazila on Saturday morning, Mirpur police OC Rafiqul Islam told the Dhaka Tribune.
The bodies have been sent to Kushtia General Hospital morgue.
In Jamalpur, a microbus overturned when its driver lost control over the steering in Digpait area, leaving two dead on the spot and three injured.
Jamtoli police In-Charge Mohabbatul Kabir confirmed it to the Dhaka Tribune.
