Four killed as truck rams auto rickshaw in Sylhet

Four siblings of two families have been killed and two injured after a truck rammed into an auto rickshaw in Sylhet’s Beanibazar upazila. The accident took place on Sylhet-Beanibazar road in Mohammadpur Tikarpara area around 5:15pm Friday. The deceased are- Sabbir Ahmed and Alamgir Hossain, sons of one Nur Uddin of Banigram and, Dulal Ahmed and Ibrahim Ali, sons of Foyej Uddin of the same upazila. They all were auto rickshaw passengers. “Three of the victims died on the spot while one died while undergoing treatment at Osmani Medical College Hospital,” Sylhet’s Additional Police Superintendent Suggyan Chakma told the Dhaka Tribune.
