At least seven Jubo Dal and Chhatra Dal men reportedly got injured when Bangladesh Chaatra League members allegedly attacked a protest-procession in Khulna city on Wednesday.
The injured were district unit Jubo Dal Vice-President Sheikh Kochi, General Secretary Ebadul Haque Rubel, Office Secretary Russel, Hemayet Uddin, Chhatr Dal President Masum, its Organising Secretary Shahidul Islam and Join Organising Secretary Zafar Iqbal.
Khulna Jubo Dal Office Secretary GM Russel said Jubo Dal and Chhatra Dal members brought out a procession in Khulna city protesting the verdict of 21 August grenade attack case.

Chaatra League members attacked the procession with local weapons leaving seven injured while the procession was heading to PTY intersection.
The injured were admitted to local clinics and hospitals, he added.
But, Khulna Sadar Police Station Officer-in-Charge Humayun Kabir said the information of attack was not true.
