The Department of Narcotics Control (DNC) has detained two people with 100kg hemp in Brahmanbaria.
A DNC team raided Islampur area of Bijoynagar Upazila on Thursday, acting on a tip-off and detained the men, reports UNB.
They have been identified as Manna Mia, 41, and Jamal, 18 – both are locals.
DNC sources said three other suspects had escaped during the raid.
A case has been filed with Bijoynagar police.
