Detectives arrested a youth along with 20,000 yaba tablets from the Maizyartek area of the Karnaphuli upazila of Chattogram on Sunday night.
The youth has been identified as 25-year-old Nur Helal.
Assistant Commissioner of Detective Branch of police (Bandar) Asif Mohiuddin said based on a tip-off, a team of DB police conducted the drive in the area at night and stopped Nur Helal's motorcycle.
Later, they recovered the yaba tablets from the oil tank of the motorcycle.
The DB police arrested Nur and seized the vehicle. A case was filed in conjunction to the incident.
