The two UPDF men were identified as Tomesh Chakma, 29, and Sonamoni Chakma, 30.
Officer-in-charge of Panchhari police station Abdul Jabbar said a army platoon raided Napitabari at early hours on Tuesday while acting on a tip-off, and detained Tomesh Chakma and Sonamoni Chakma with a foreign-made pistol, 3 bullets, a magazine, a locally-made gun and two rounds of it's ammunition.

Military personal handed the duo over to police on Tuesday noon, and preparation for a case to be filed against them is underway.
Earlier, on Monday, an unidentified miscreant wearing unmarked military fatigues was killed and two children injured during a gunfight with army in Bandarban after the army patrol was attacked.
