A woman and her daughter were burned to death in a fire that broke out at a house in Rajnagar upazila of Moulvibazar district.
Rokeya Begum, 50, and her daughter Shahina Akhter, 24, died in the fire that started from an electric short circuit around 2:15am on Thursday.
Rokeya’s son Munna, 22, also sustained burn injuries in the fire.
Rajnagar police station Sub-Inspector (SI) Billal confirmed the matter to the Dhaka Tribune.
