Free health camp service held in Golpalganj

A free health camp has been organized at Tungipara, Gopalganj on Sunday, to celebrate Bangladesh’s “developing country” status. The free health camp was inaugurated by Tungipara upazila Chairman Gazi Golam Mostofa on Sunday. It was held at the Tungipara upazila auditorium, and organized by Sheikh Fazilatunnesa Mujib Eye Hospital and Training Institute in association with the private organization BIZ. Dr Saifuddin Ahmed, director of the eye hospital, conducted free eye check-ups. Doctors from gynaecology, medicine, cardiology and diabetic specialists also provided free consultation and treatment. Of them, 34 were selected for cornea surgery – fully free of cost, and taken to the hospital.
