Abdul Hakim, a Rohingya youth, has been killed by his brother-in-law at the Kutupalong camp in Cox's Bazar. The murder took place in the early hours of Friday, in the camp's D4 block. Ukhiya police station's Officer-in-Charge (OC) Abul Khair said that Abdul had two wives. One of them lives in Bandarban's Alikadam and the other at the Rohingya camp. “When Abdul returned to his wife Ayesha at the camp, he got into a fight regarding his two wives. Later, his wife's brother, Rafik, attacked him with a hammer," the OC said. “Abdul died on the spot after being hit in the head,” the police officer said. Rafik and Ayesha have been on the run since the murder. Police are trying to catch them, the OC added.
