Two youths found dead in Savar

In separate incidents, police recovered two bodies of young men from different places in Savar early Sunday. The deceased were identified as Badal Miah, 20, of Tangail’s Mirzapur upazila, and Sharif Sarkar, 25, of Savar’s Kaundia area. Being informed by neighbours, police recovered Badal’s hanging body from a six-storey building at Saver Bazar bus stand in the morning and sent it to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) for autopsy. Police said there were wounds on Badal’s neck and they could suggest that his body was hanged from the ceiling fan after he was killed in order to make it look like a suicide. Two roommates of Badal have gone into hiding after the incident. On the other hand, police recovered Sharif’s body from his aunt's house Sunday morning and sent it to DMCH too for autopsy. Police said Sharif was a drug addict. Two separate cases were filed over the incidents, said Savar model police station OC Mohasinul Quader.
