Bus services from 11 northern districts via Bogra resume

Bus services from 11 northern districts to Dhaka via Bogra resumed on Wednesday evening, after a suspension of around 12 hours over a dispute between bus workers and owners. The decision was made at an emergency meeting with representatives of transport owners and workers, convened by the Deputy Commissioner of Bogra. Earlier in the morning, transport owners of 11 northern districts - Bogra, Naogaon, Joypurhat, Dinajpur, Thakurgaon, Panchagarh, Rangpur, Nilphamari, Gaibandha, Kurigram and Lalmonirhat - suspended bus services to the capital via Bogra over an internal conflict with workers. However, buses from Rajshahi, Chapainawabganj, Natore, Pabna, and Sirajganj to Dhaka were operating as per the schedule.
