Police have taken action against the five policemen who were found to have been harassing schoolgirls in Khulna.
The five were among 12 others from Baintola Camp in Batiaghat upazila in Khulna for their sexual harassment of schoolgirls and assaulting a man for protesting their heinous actions.

The five are Naik Zahid and Constables Riyad, Nayeem, Abir and Sumanta.
Their suspension was implemented after a probe committee headed by Additional Superintendent of Police Md Sajib Khan. The probe committee found evidence against five among the 12 initially closed.

The district police has also deployed 14 new policemen at the camp from where the suspended policemen had been sexually harassing schoolgirls for years.
