At least two people have been killed and 10 others in a road accident in Ghonapara area of Gopalganj district.
One of the deceased has been identified as Sheikh Shahin, 48, son of Sheikh Khabir of Faridpur.
Gopalganj Sadar Sub-Inspector Shawkat Hossain said: “A Khulna-bound bus of Bonophul Poribohon collided head-on with a truck around 1:30am on Monday, killing two people on the spot.”
He said the injured have been admitted to Gopalganj General Hospital morgue while the bodies were kept in the hospital morgue.
