Villagers clash in Sunamganj leaves one dead

There have been a long-standing dispute between Abdus Sobhan and Monfor Mia over the ownership of a piece of land. In the morning, supporters of them equipped with lethal weapons locked in a clash, leaving Fakhar Uddin, 25, one of the supporters of Sobhan, died on spot. The body of Sobhan was sent to Sunamganj Sadar Hospital for an autopsy. Additional police personnel have been deployed in adjacent areas to avert further clashes. No case was filed yet in this connection.
