The first court hearing in the case filed against nine policemen among 13 accused of gouging a man’s eyes out in Khulna led to the investigators requesting an extension.
Shahjalal was accused of robbing a woman and claimed to have been subjected to mob lynching, which the police claimed, led to his eyes being gouged out.
