A helicopter with four people on board crashed in Chatmohar upazila of Pabna on Sunday, as the pilot lost control due to adverse weather conditions.
The four, including the pilot and Anika Chowdhury, director of Square Pharmaceuticals Ltd, received minor injuries in the accident, said Officer-in-Charge of Chatmohar police station Ahsan Habib.
They were rescued by Chatmohar police with the help of locals.
“The helicopter, carrying Anika and others to Pabna from Dhaka, crashed due to bad weather conditions around 5pm, when it was trying to land on paddy field at Chatmohar,” Ahsan quoted locals as saying.
