The High Court has ordered to take necessary action within 48 hours to stop illegal liquor selling in the mini bars and restaurants of Gulshan and Banani areas.
The HC bench of Justice Salma Masud Chowdhury and Justice Khosruzzaman passed the order on Monday.
The order came following a writ petition filed by Advocate Manzil Morshed.
The court also ordered the DMP Commissioner, Drug Administration DG and director (operation) to submit a report in this connection within 10 days.
