The government has sent Ishtiak Hossain, Judge of Speedy Trial Tribunal of Barisal, to compulsory retirement.
An order signed by law secretary was released on Monday, said a PID handout.
The decision was taken after consultation with the Supreme Court and with the approval of the president, it said.
Ishtiak was sent to retirement following complaints of misconduct under Government Servants (Discipline and Appeal) Rules 1985, it reads.
