The Bangladeshi expatriates residing in Qatar, will get their Machine Readable Passports (MRPs) through post, reports Gulf Times.
Qatar’s General Postal Corporation (Q-Post) and the country’s Bangladesh embassy have reached an agreement under which the postal corporation will deliver the passports of the Bangladesh expatriates.
The decision was announced at a recent meeting between Bangladesh Ambassador Syed Masud Mahmood Khandoker and Qatar General Postal Corporation Chairman Abdul Rahman al-Aqaily at the headquarters of the GPC.
While discussing the possibility of enhancing the co-operation between the GPC and Bangladesh embassy, the postal authorities present at the meeting, agreed to extend best possible services to Bangladesh expatriates.
The GPC and Bangladesh embassy also held discussions on how to strengthen the relations.
