International Crimes Tribunal-2 has issued a rule against journalist David Bergman as the court was not satisfied with his explanation about his three articles.
The court has ordered him to explain why contempt of court charge will not be taken against him. The court has also asked why action will not be taken against him.
The court said it was not satisfied with Bergman’s explanation what it had earlier ordered him to explain.
The court finds his articles tantamount to contempt to the court, the order said.
David Bergman has faced contempt of court charges at the tribunal before for similar offences he committed by publishing an op-ed in a Bangladeshi English daily.
The tribunal warned him against repeating such offences after hearing the contempt charge in February 2012.
