Three suspected robbers have died in a mass beating in Trishal upazila, Mymensingh on Friday night.
The dead are Saiful, 35, from Kathalia union, Mannan, 30, and Kalam, 32, from Gaforgaon of the same district.
Robbers attacked some people on the Kalibari road in Rajabaria area around 9:30pm, locals said. The victims informed locals and hundreds of people came down on a chase.
Three people were then beaten to death suspected as robbers.
Trishal police Sub Inspector Mazharul Islam confirmed the deaths. The bodies have been sent to Mymensingh Medical College for autopsy.
