French journalist Philippe Alfonsi will hand over today video footage taken by him on the Liberation War of Bangladesh in 1971 to the Liberation War Museum in Dhaka.
Alfonsi, who entered Bangladesh territory obtaining a passport of Mujibnagar government at the outset of the war, had covered the turbulent days of the war as a neutral journalist, visiting different places – Kushtia, Meherpur and Jessore.
