A Sylhet court has sent Companiganj upazila Juba Dal unit secretary to jail along with 34 others, cancelling the bail petition in connection with the Amin murder case.
Judge Arifur Rahman passed the order after the accused pleaded for bail, appearing before the court on Tuesday.
The accused are Companiganj upazila Juba Dal unit Secretary Nurul Mottakin Badsha, Helal Rahman, Selim, Dala Mia and 31 others.
Defense Lawyer Badrul Alam confirmed the matter.
Earlier on November 11, a youth named Amin was killed in a clash between two groups of villagers.
Abdul Ali and Nur Muhammad, two relatives of the dead, filed a case in this regard.
