War Crime convict Abdul Alim’s family has shown dissatisfaction and surprise to the verdict.
Alim’s son Sajjad bin Alim in his reaction said, “How could he commit such crimes when he was not even in the scene during the liberation war?”
“We had escaped to a safe place during the war,” Sajjad added.
Alim’s lawyer advocate Ahsanul Haq said Alim’s family would soon file an appeal against the verdict to the higher court.
