Ten new judges, who have been serving as additional judges, have been made permanent to the High Court division on Sunday.
Ministry of Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs issued a gazette regarding the matter, in line with orders from President Abdul Hamid under section 95 of the Constitution.
The judges are: SH Mohammad Nurul Huda Jaigirdar, KM Qamrul Qader, Md Mojibur Rahman Mia, Mostafa Zaman Islam, Mohammad Ullah, Muhammad Khurshid Alam Sarkar, AKM Shahidul Haque, Shahidul Karim, Mohammad Jahangir Hossain, and Abu Taher Mohammad Taifur Rahman.
The judges will begin their office from the day they swear in.
