Two newly appointed additional judges of the High Court took their oath Monday.
The new judges are: M Shahinur Islam, member of International Crimes Tribunal 2, and Deputy Attorney General Kashifa Hossain.
Chief Justice M Muzammel Hossain administered the oath at the Judges' Lounge of the Supreme Court at 12:55pm.
On July 31, President Abdul Hamid appointed them for two years in accordance with Article 98 of the constitution.
The number of High Court judges now stands at 92.
