The Appellate Division has stayed the anticipatory bail granted to the managing director and two other officials of Padma Oil Company Limited in graft cases.

The ACC filed three cases against the accused on July 10 with Sadarghat police station of Chittagong for influencing the appointment of 93 temporary workers at the company. They were appointed between May 26, 2009 and May 3, 2010 violating rules and regulations.
