A mobile court sentenced three months imprisonment to two stalkers for sexually harassing two school girls in Gournadi upazila of Barisal Sunday.
The convicted two were identified as Mehedi Hasan Roni and Rajib Hossain.
Police and court sources said Roni and Rajib waylaid two school girls of class-X on their way to Gournadi Model School and sexually harassed them.
Hearing hue and cry of the victims locals rushed to the spot and rescued the girls. Locals also nabbed the stalkers and handed over to police at about 11:45 am.
In the evening police placed the two accused stalker before the mobile court led by Didar E Alam Muhammad Maksud Chowdhury, Gournadi upazila nirbahi officer.
The court sentenced each of two accused to 3 months imprisonment.
