KSA extends amnesty for foreign workers till Nov 4

Update : 02 Jul 2013, 08:17 AM

The Saudi Arabian government has extended the amnesty period for undocumented foreign workers in the Kingdom to correct their statuses by four months.

A Ministry of Interior statement carried by the Saudi Press Agency on Tuesday said the original three-month grace period, which ends on July 4, will be extended to November 4.

With this new deadline, the government urged all undocumented expatriates who have yet to register to come forward and have their statuses corrected.

Once the new deadline expires, inspections by appropriate agencies will resume in various regions of the Kingdom and all penalties will apply to violators, the statement said.
