War crimes suspect AKM Yusuf’s case has been shifted from ICT 1 to ICT 2 based on the prosecution on Monday.
Earlier in May ICT 1 had rejected the bail petition of detained Jamaat leader AKM Yusuf for a case filed against him for his alleged involvement in crimes against humanity during the 1971 Liberation War.
The three member ICT 1 panel headed by ATM Fazle Kabir had passed the order.
The tribunal had also fixed June 6 for the hearing on charge-framing against the Jamaat leader.
Moreover, it had ordered the jail authorities to ensure adequate medical attention for him.
Rab arrested Yusuf from his Dhanmondi residence on May 12 immediately after being ordered to do so by the tribunal.
The Jamaat leader had been produced before the court three hours after his arrest.
