The High Court on Sunday directed the authorities to take necessary steps to bar Delwar Hossain, owner of the Tazreen Fashion, from leaving the country.
An HC bench comprising Justice kazi Rezaul Haq and Justice ABM Altaf Hossain passed the order following a writ petition filed on April 28 seeking Delwar’s arrest.
The court also summoned him on May 30 and asked home ministry’s probe committee, investigating the fire incident that caused more than 112 people’s lives, to submit report, reports Banglanews24.com
The writ petition was filed with the HC seeking arrest of the owner of Tazreen Fashions Limited for his ignorance.
A devastating fire in the factory killed 112 people in November last year.
