A Natore court Tuesday noon sent a journalist to jail in a case of Awami League-BNP clash.
Senior judicial magistrate Nadira Sultana passed the order, turning down the bail plea.
The journalist Abdul Mazid, is a district correspondent of the daily Nowroz, was accused in a case filed following the clash between local activists of Awami League and BNP-led 20 party alliance at Malonchi bazar area of Bagatipara upazila in the district on April 7, 2013.
Majid got injured among 25 that included four bullet-wounded at that time.
On the following day, general secretary of Bagatipara upazila Awamli League Sekendar Rahman lodged a case against 81 including journalist Abdul Majid.
