A case has been filed against four unidentified persons over the murder of blogger Ananta Bijoy Das in Sylhet.
Ananta's elder brother Ratneshwar Das filed the case with Airport police station, OC Gousul Hossain told the Dhaka Tribune.
“OC (Investigation) Nurul Alam will investigate the case. None were arrested so far in connection with the murder, but we are continuing our drive to arrest the culprits,” said Gousul.
Meanwhile, local Gonojagoron Moncho activists have observed a half-day hartal beginning from 6am on Wednesday in protest of the killing.
Mukto-Mona blogger Ananta was hacked to death by masked assailants in the Subid Bazar area of Sylhet city on Tuesday morning.
